Pierre Bateau was a celebrated young writer in his
youth. His writing style has been lauded as original
and emotionally charged. He never made any moves to
publish any of the three books he'd written by his
senior year in high School because it was a hobby for
him and mostly and outlet.
He joined the military after High School to see the
world. Since then he has been a lot of places that
most people only read about. His writing has been
enhanced by the experience of seeing places like
Cairo, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Ireland and Cypress.
Today he strives to bring it back home and return to
that experience where to him there is no other place
like it. His purpose seems to be to paint a picture of
regular everyday Black Folk that shows the love, the
heartache and the hilarious circumstances that we
sometimes find ourselves in. Pierre is a true
renaissance man who believes in family and the need
for us to learn to deal with ourselves and our
differences.
His latest book Split Indecision is an open window to
the emotions that pour from his inner-self and grace
the paper on which it is printed. His next project, I
got all my sistahs and me, scheduled to be released
later this year, is a real eye opener that shows how
we as a people run from the very things that have made
us who we are-ourselves. It is a story about how Black
men refuse to consider dating Black Women, and how
Black Women really feel about the Brothas. Share the
experience of Pierre's writing today and join the
growing number of people who are learning from his new
brand of edutainment.
