When Edward McAlester chooses to go in business for himself, his decision changes everything. Edward starts out as an innocent. However,often mistaking the glitz for the gold, he makes many bad choices which eventually led to his spiritual demise. Ironically, his downfall begins with his bad choice of a business partner, Doug. Eventually, Doug shows his true colors and betrays Edward. Similarly, when given a chance to develop a relationship with his girlfriend Gracie, Edward chooses to develop a relationship with a younger woman, Siobhan. This time, it is Edward who is the betrayer.
